A Transpo bus crashed into a tree in South Bend after the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, near the the Legacy on Main Apartments.

One passenger was taken to the hospital fgor evaluation.

Factors into the collision are still being investigated.
