Nationwide turkey bacon recall due to listeria concerns

One of America’s largest food manufacturers has announced the recall of more than a third of a million pounds of turkey bacon, due to a contamination that cause real problems.

Kraft Heinz is recalling about 368,000 lbs. of turkey bacon that may be contaminated with Listeria.

The bacon was produced under the Oscar Meyer Turkey Bacon Original brand and is in 12 oz. packaged produced between April 24 and June 11 of this year. The products were shipped nationwide.

The contamination was caught in lab testing by Kraft Heinz according to officials who say that there have been no confirmed reports of illness. If you have any of the product – throw it out or return it.
