Elkhart Police Department detectives continue to actively investigate a shooting with injuries that occurred in the 3000 block of Brittany Court in Elkhart.

On July 3, 2025, shortly before 2 a.m., Elkhart Police Department officers were called about the gunfire, and while en route, learned that two men arrived at Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.

One victim was transported to South Bend Memorial and is in critical condition. The second victim was treated at Elkhart General for his non-life threatening injury.

Elkhart Police Department detectives continue to actively investigate and are asking for the public’s help.
