Westwind Brewery Co. now allowing minors inside

Westwind Brewery Co. in Elkhart is now allowing minors inside when accompanied by an adult family member or guardian over 21.
This change is thanks to Indiana House Bill 1275, a new law aimed at fostering a more family-friendly atmosphere in breweries and wineries across the state.
Westwind owner Aaron West, an active member of the Indiana Brewers Guild, sees this as a big opportunity for local businesses to thrive. Looking ahead, Westwind Brewery Co. plans to continue adapting to new regulations, potentially including the ability to ship beers directly to consumers in the future.
