The South Shore Line is thanking local educators next week.

They’re inviting teachers to ride for free from July 14 through 20 on all off-peak weekday and all weekend trains.

Educators will need to provide a valid school ID to take part in the free rides.

Riders can also take advantage of the Kids Ride Free Program, allowing up to three children 13 years and under to ride free with each paying parent or guardian on off-peak weekday and all weekend trains.

To see their full schedule, visit the South Shore Line website.

I’m glad my tax dollars can subsidize the South Shore so that they can give free rides to Randi Weingarten’s thugs.
