A Winamac pastor found guilty of battering a child at a church daycare will not serve any jail time.
Martin Burns was sentenced to one year, suspended, and placed on probation following the 2023 incident.
Surveillance video showed Burns kneeling on a child for about seven seconds. He told police he used only enough pressure to hold the child down.
Authorities say the child was not injured.
