John Adams High School has hired a new Athletic Director.

Pending school board approval, Colin Burns will return to the school he graduated from in 2000 and played baseball and basketball.

Burns was also a co-captain of the 2000 Eagles baseball team that won a sectional championship for the school. He’s a 2004 graduate of Indiana University who was born and raised in South Bend and has worked with the athletic department for six years.

Adams boasts a sports program with 25 varsity and more than 30 sub-varsity sports teams.
