An Elkhart man accused of a burglary at Smokes++ has had his trial moved.

Cristian Quintanilla is accused of the burglary that happened in January of 2023.

Reports say an officer responded to an alarm and found Quintanilla behind the sales counter.

He allegedly told officers he had broken into the business because he wanted to get deported.

The Goshen News says his jury trial was moved from August 18 to November 4.
