A 20-year-old has been charged with a murder that happened in April.

Police found Douglas Morgan dead shortly after 7 a.m. in a South Main Street parking lot in downtown Elkhart.

The Goshen News says surveillance footage showed Morgan late April 5 bleeding and later showed 20-year-old Christopher Yotter enter the parking lot where Morgan was found.

Yotter was seen earlier carrying a stick and possible concrete and allegedly admitted to killing someone near the Lerner Theatre.

Yotter has pleaded guilty and had his jury trial set for November 3.
