Cassopolis man killed in pickup vs farm tractor crash

A 73-year-old Cassopolis man died after a pickup truck struck his farm tractor in Cass County.

It happened last week. Michigan State Police say both vehicles were heading south on Calvin Center Road near Calvin Hill Street when the pickup hit the tractor from behind. The tractor driver died.

The 36-year-old Marcellus man driving the pickup and his passengers had minor injuries.

WNDU reports police suspect distracted driving played a role.
