Whirlpool charity golf event raises $3.2 million for youth organizations

The recent Whirlpool Community Charity Golf Event raised $3.2 million for youth organizations in Berrien County

WSJM reports that 884 golfers participated in the two-day event, with proceeds benefiting five youth organizations in Southwest Michigan. Those include the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan, First Tee of Benton Harbor, and local public school foundations.

Over 22 years, the events have raised more than $37 million, highlighting the community involvement of the global corporation.
