Cass County drug raid leads to arrest

A 44-year-old woman was arrested Friday morning after Cass County authorities seized methamphetamine and related paraphernalia during a search of a Milton Township home.
According to the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, detectives executed a search warrant around 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, in the 33000 block of Redfield Street, with assistance from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say the search turned up methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and evidence the home was being used to maintain a drug house.
The woman, whose name is being withheld pending arraignment in 4th District Court, faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug house.
