A 21-year-old Osceola man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Mishawaka.
The crash happened just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the intersection of Elm Road and Layton Road, according to the St. Joseph County Police Department. Investigators say the Osceola man was riding south on Elm Road when a pickup truck driven by a 34-year-old South Bend man turned left onto Layton Road, pulling into the motorcycle’s path.
The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is still investigating factors that led to the crash.
