A man accused of breaking into an Elkhart house had his jury trial rescheduled.

A victim on Cobus Ridge Lane said he found Jesus Enrique Garcia in his basement in January and noticed that his Nintendo Switch, games and laptop were missing.

Surveillance footage also found packages being stolen from the home. An officer found the Switch on Facebook Marketplace and met up with the seller, purchasing the gaming system.

The officer then followed Garcia back to his home and got a search warrant to inspect the place.

Garcia allegedly admitted that he entered the home when he found the door unlocked.

The Goshen News says his jury trial was continued to November 3.
