A South Bend man previously charged in a child molesting case is now facing additional charges tied to a separate investigation.
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office announced this week that 37-year-old Brandon Pryor has been charged with three more counts of Child Molesting stemming from an October 2024 case. Earlier this month, Pryor was already charged with two counts of Child Molesting in connection with a May 2025 incident.
According to investigators, the 2024 case began when a juvenile reported being approached near Fox and St. Joseph Streets while walking to her school bus. She told authorities a man in a pickup truck offered her a ride because of the cold weather. After she accepted, the victim said she was sexually assaulted in a field and again in an empty house before being dropped off near Ireland Road. She later reported the attack to her School Resource Officer, leading the case to be taken over by the county’s Special Victims Unit.
With the new charges, Pryor now faces a total of five counts of Child Molesting across the two cases. He remains at large.
Authorities describe Pryor as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous. Investigators say Pryor has driven multiple vehicles, including a black Chevrolet Tahoe linked to the May incident and, more recently, a dark-colored BMW SUV with an unknown plate number.
Pryor is believed to have ties to South Bend, Chicago, and Indianapolis, and investigators think he may currently be in the Chicago area.
