Amazon has officially opened its new 171,000-square-foot delivery station in Elkhart. Located at 2695 Aeroplex Drive, the facility employs over 250 workers, offering an average starting wage of $19 per hour along with benefits from day one.

Full-time team members receive health, vision, and dental coverage, a 401(k) with a 50% company match, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave.

Employees also have access to education programs, including full college tuition, high school diplomas, GEDs, and ESL courses after just three months on the job.

The new facility boosts Amazon’s last-mile delivery network in northern Indiana, helping speed up shipments across the Michiana region.
