An Elkhart man accused of a burglary at Smokes++ has pleaded guilty.

Cristian Quintanilla is accused of the burglary that happened in January of 2023.

Reports say an officer responded to an alarm and found Quintanilla behind the sales counter.

He allegedly told officers he had broken into the business because he wanted to get deported.

The Goshen News says he pleaded guilty last Thursday and will be sentenced on October 2.
