Marshall County woman sentenced for threatening judge

A Marshall County woman has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for threatening a judge on social media.
Prosecutors say 35-year-old Sharlotte Preston of Plymouth posted threats on Facebook aimed at Circuit Court Judge Jeanette Surrisi, tied to Preston’s child custody case.
After serving her jail time, Preston will be placed on probation for one year.
