On the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attacks on Israel, local Congressman Rudy Yakym (R-IN) and Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg (R-MI) issued statements reaffirming U.S. support for Israel and condemning antisemitism.
Rep. Yakym called the attacks “a brutal assault” that killed and kidnapped civilians, including Americans. “Israel has every right to defend itself and bring every hostage home,” Yakym said. He called accusations of “genocide” against Israel “a reckless distortion that excuses Hamas’s terrorism.”
Walberg echoed the sentiment, condemning the rise of antisemitism in U.S. schools since the attack. “Jewish students and faculty across America are still facing unprecedented harassment,” he said, criticizing educators who “spread antisemitism instead of condemning it.”
Both lawmakers pledged continued support for Israel and efforts to combat antisemitic discrimination in schools and on campuses.

I wish these two cared about all their constituents as much as they care for Israel. When is the last time they came out against anti-white or anti-Christian sentiments?
I don’t have a problem with HAMAS getting pummeled back into the stone age, but NOBODY is above criticism in a country with free speech.
