East Noble School Corporation has fired former basketball coach and assistant athletic director Brandon Durnell following allegations of misconduct.

The allegations reportedly involve inappropriate messages. Administrators were first made aware of the situation on September 26, and Durnell was immediately placed on administrative leave while an internal review was conducted.

Findings from that review were forwarded to law enforcement for further investigation, according to Superintendent Teresa Gremaux.

Durnell has been removed from the district’s staff directory and athletic webpage.
