Middlebury man recovering after motorcycle crash

A 19-year-old Middlebury man is recovering after a motorcycle crash in Goshen.
Police say the teen was thrown from his bike around 8:30 p.m. on Monday night, Oct. 20, after colliding with an SUV turning from Westplains Drive onto U.S. 33.
Witnesses and officers reported the motorcycle had been traveling at speds of 65 to 70 miles per hour and weaving through traffic earlier.
The motorcyclist was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with abdominal and pelvic injuries.
