Indiana’s congressional delegation unites behind FAA drone test site bid

U.S. Senator Todd Young has led the entire Indiana congressional delegation in a bipartisan letter supporting the state’s application to host a new Federal Aviation Administration Drone Test Site.
The delegation argues Indiana is uniquely situated to help the FAA integrate Unmanned Aerial Systems into national airspace.
If selected, the designation would boost U.S. drone technology dominance and create new collaboration opportunities for Hoosier universities, manufacturers, and government entities.
