The Niles Scream Park wrapped up another successful season, marking its 52nd year as one of Michiana’s top fall attractions.
The park raised more than $153,000 for 70 local children’s organizations, civic groups and charities, including the Boy Scouts, Haunters Against Hate, LaPorte Little Theatre and more. The funds also help support six college scholarships for local seniors.
Another 72-hundred dollars in tickets were donated to community causes.
This year’s project featured seven haunted attractions and dozens of volunteer opportunities. Park officials say plans are already in motion for an even scarier experience next season.
