Congressman Bill Huizenga announced on social media Monday that he will be running for reelection.

WSJM says Huizenga claims he’s running again to continue fighting inflation and improving affordability for Michigan families, citing what he calls the “failed policies of the Biden era.”

Huizenga says he’s helped secure tax cuts, voted to lower energy prices and supported what he calls transformative energy investments in Southwest Michigan.

He adds he continues to stand with law enforcement and supports efforts to secure the nation’s borders.

Huizenga says while he’s proud of his accomplishments, there’s more work to be done in Michigan.
