Mishawaka man sentenced to five years in federal prison on drug charges

A Mishawaka man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison after pleading guilty to a methamphetamine distribution charge.
Jamaal Husband, 42, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Cristal C. Brisco to 60 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release, according to Acting U.S. Attorney M. Scott Proctor.
Court records show police executed a search warrant at Husband’s home and recovered approximately 146 grams of methamphetamine, along with two firearms and smaller amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana.
Husband pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine.
