Developers will turn the former South Bend Tribune building into Colfax Corner, a 202,000square-foot research and innovation hub.
Ancora, Notre Dame, and the city will lead the project, which is expected to create over 400 high-tech jobs. The Tribune building will be restored, connected to a modern office space, and feature an outdoor plaza.
Construction starts summer 2026, with completion by summer 2028.
