Elkhart Community Schools will host ribbon-cutting ceremonies Tuesday, January 13, to celebrate several major facility projects focused on career readiness and student wellness.
The events will highlight the new Criminal Justice and Community Center at the Elkhart Area Career Center, updates at the EACC North Annex, and the new Health and Strength Center at Elkhart High School.
Planning for the projects began in fall 2023, with construction starting in late 2024. Each project was funded through separate bonds based on location.
The EACC expansion adds modern classrooms, training spaces and upgraded facilities for multiple career programs. Community members are invited to attend the 3:30 p.m. ceremony at the Elkhart Area Career Center on California Road.
