As the United States enters its 250th year, Freedom 250, the national organization announced by President Donald J. Trump, to lead America’s semiquincentennial celebration, will launch one of its most ambitious national initiatives: a fleet of interactive Mobile Museum Trucks traveling across the country, delivering America’s story directly to the people.
The nationwide tour will launch with Secretary Sean Duffy and Deputy Secretary Keith Sonderling in Greensboro, North Carolina on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the Revolution Academy in Summerfield, NC, in coordination with partners at the U.S. Department of Education, before rapidly expanding across the country.
By March 2026, all six Mobile Museum Trucks will be on the road, bringing American history experiences through major cities, small towns, libraries, museums, schools, military bases, and community centers, transforming public spaces into immersive learning environments that celebrate the nation’s discovery, independence, innovation, and future.
Each state-of-the-art mobile museum features museum-quality exhibits, immersive multimedia, hands-on learning experiences, and original historical artifacts, telling the story of America’s founding, its defining moments, and the values that continue to unite the nation, One Nation Under God.
The Mobile Museum Tour is a cornerstone activation in Freedom 250’s yearlong slate of marquee national programs throughout 2026, uniting communities coast to coast in the largest commemoration of American history ever undertaken.
