Drag workshop draws protests at Goshen Theatre

A drag workshop and showcase at the Goshen Theater drew protests on Saturday.
Several dozen people braved freezing temperatures to voice opposition to the event, saying drag should not be promoted in the community.
The Goshen News reports that protesters said they were concerned about what they view as the normalization of drag culture and its impact on children.
Some cited religious beliefs, while others argued the event was inappropriate for a public venue.
Organizers pushed back, saying the workshop was for adults 18 and older and served as an opportunity for new performers to learn the art form in a small, supportive setting.
Both sides described the demonstrations as peaceful.

if you do not agree with it that is fine and you do not have to go to the show, it is a paid event. Don’t go and don’t take your children if you do not believe they should be exposed to it.

They are just trying to normalize perversion, they are not performers. Good to see non insane people pushing back because all other perversions are waiting their turn to be normalized.
