Indiana Michigan Power crews are stepping in to help other utilities hit hard by last week’s deep freeze. The company says about 400 employees and business partners deployed to Kentucky, Oklahoma and West Virginia to assist with major power restoration efforts.
Lineworkers and support teams are working long hours in sub-zero temperatures and poor road conditions to get electricity back to customers.
I&M also thanked crews who stayed behind to handle any outages here at home and to keep Indiana and Michigan customers safe and warm during the ongoing cold stretch.
