South Bend Police Review Board changes

New members have joined the South Bend Police Review Board, and some roles on the board have shifted.
The Common Council approved replacements for two board members and filled other open positions after some former members stepped down or moved districts.
George Jones now represents the second district, taking over from Komonique Thomas, who will serve as a member at large.
Sharon Banicki was sworn in earlier this month to represent the sixth district.
The board’s role is to advise the department, review complaints, and recommend corrective or disciplinary actions.
