As the snow begins to melt, frustration is growing in parts of St. Joseph County.

Some homeowners still have piles of leaves sitting at the curb, saying they’ve been waiting months for pickup.

The county contracts with a private company to collect fall leaves that residents rake to the curb. In Granger, residents who paid for the service say they’re still waiting.

County leaders plan to meet with the contractor Friday to discuss what went wrong and how  missed pickups will be handled. Officials say once there are a few more sunny days, crews should be back out collecting leaves.
