Mishawaka’s George Wilson Park is set for major upgrades this year, bringing new four-season recreation to the area.

City officials say the park will add year-round skiing, snowboarding, and tubing, thanks to a $1.5 million grant from Visit South Bend Mishawaka and the St. Joseph County Hotel-Motel Tax Board.

Plans include 250-foot tubing lanes and synthetic Neveplast skiing and snowboarding surfaces designed to feel like packed snow.

The park will also debut its first carpet lift to carry riders up the hill.

The disc golf course is also set for improvements, with the full project expected to be finished by fall of 2026.
