Indiana State Police Sergeant Bruce Duhaime Promoted to Lieutenant

Indiana State Police Superintendent Anthony Scott has announced the promotion of Sergeant Bruce Duhaime to lieutenant and District Commander of the Toll Road Post.

Duhaime earned the promotion through written testing and a competitive interview process.

He’s a graduate of Noblesville High School and attended Indiana University, studying sports marketing. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps on active duty and in the reserves from 1990 to 1998.

He graduated from the Indiana State Police 52nd Recruit Academy in 1995 and has served in numerous roles, including SWAT, crash reconstruction and drug enforcement.

He was first promoted to sergeant in 2009 and has supervised troopers in Elkhart County since 2013.
