One person is safe after falling through the ice at Chain O’ Lakes. It happened around 5 o’clock on Wednesday evening.

Emergency crews were able to pull the victim from the water. There was no word about any injuries.

It’s the second time in a week that crews had to make a rescue at Chain O’ Lakes.

Officials are warning about weakened ice conditions due to the up-and-down temps and sunshine we’ve had.
