A trial date is set for the man accused of triggering an Amber Alert earlier this month in Starke County.

Police say Dwayne Clemons assaulted his wife and took their 2-year-old son. He faces charges including kidnapping and aggravated battery.

His jury trial is scheduled to begin in early June.
