A LaGrange County man has been sentenced to 38 years in prison after being convicted of attempted robbery and attempted aggravated battery.
According to the LaGrange County Prosecutor’s Office, Gregory Kurzawski appeared for sentencing Feb. 27 in LaGrange Superior Court. After reviewing a pre-sentence investigation report, hearing a witness statement and listening to arguments from the State, the court formally entered convictions on one count of Attempted Robbery and one count of Attempted Aggravated Battery.
Kurzawski’s sentence was enhanced due to his status as a habitual offender, resulting in a total executed sentence of 38 years in the Indiana Department of Correction.
