Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is calling for an investigation after deadly tornadoes struck Southwest Michigan last week.
Some residents say a tornado warning should have been issued sooner.
Whitmer’s office told the Detroit News the review should examine whether the National Weather Service response was delayed and whether federal staffing cuts could have played a role.
Forecasters say the storm intensified rapidly and they issued alerts as soon as possible.

Sometimes theres nothing or nobody to blame. Things just happen. Noone is good enough at meteorology to accurately predict a moody Mother Nature! Just ask people in Oklahoma!
