Trial date moved for teen accused of attempted murder

An Elkhart teen charged with attempted murder in a December shooting will have more time before trial. 

Police say officers responded to a shooting call on Monroe Street around 10:17 p.m. on December 23.

A 17-year-old victim was found shot inside an apartment building and taken to the hospital.

Davonte Jones was later arrested and charged in the case. His jury trial has been moved from April 6 to June 15.
