The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program has restricted purchases of certain items like gum and mints, while allowing others like potato chips and ice cream.
Retailers say it’s challenging to interpret and enforce the rules, leading to confusion among customers who must visit multiple stores for approved items.

Let’s simplify it by banning the rest of the premade junk food too!

Probably not the answer the author of this article was hoping for. Let’s go one step farther and ban SNAP completely, we can just go back to soup kitchens. Nobody will starve, but it’s uncomfortable and inconvenient enough to incentivize people to improve their lot in life.
