A Middlebury man is facing multiple charges after police say he left the scene of a crash that injured three people in Goshen.
According to police, officers were dispatched around 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, to the 200 block of West Pike Street for a reported hit-and-run accident.
Three Elkhart residents-a 48-year-old woman, a 55-year-old man, and a 26-year-old man-reported injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Officers later located the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Thomas F. Yoder of Middlebury.
Following an investigation, police determined Yoder allegedly left the scene of a bodily injury crash. He is also accused of inhaling toxic vapors and operating a vehicle while intoxicated in a manner that endangered others.
Yoder was arrested and taken to the Elkhart County Jail. The incident remains under investigation.
