A Pennsylvania man will spend five years in federal prison following a drug conviction in U.S. District Court in South Bend.
Keisand Santiago-Maldonado, 33, was sentenced after a jury found him guilty of possessing cocaine with intent to distribute.
Investigators say he was stopped in LaPorte County for traffic violations, and officers found nearly one kilogram of cocaine hidden under the passenger seat.
He’ll also serve four years of supervised release.
