Marian High School to conduct independent review of boys’ basketball program

Marian High School and the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend Office of Catholic Schools have announced an independent review of the school’s boys’ basketball program following a reported battery incident during a March 10 practice.
The announcement follows the firing of head coach Robb Berger last week. Additionally, former Marian High School and University of Notre Dame basketball player Demetrius Jackson has been charged with battery in connection with the incident.
School leadership indicated it is fully cooperating with the review and expressed confidence that the process will provide clarity moving forward.
