Drivers in Goshen should prepare for temporary railroad crossing closures beginning later this month.
Norfolk Southern Railroad has notified the city that multiple crossings will be shut down for maintenance, with each closure expected to last no more than three days.
City officials say the work will move from the northwest part of Goshen toward the southeast. To help limit disruptions, Norfolk Southern will not close the crossings at East Lincoln Avenue and East Monroe Street at the same time.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and expect delays during the work period.
