A SWAT situation in South Bend ended without an arrest Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded around 12:30 p.m. to the 1400 block of Huey Street, where a standoff lasted several hours. When officers eventually entered the property, no one was found inside.
Authorities say South Bend Police and SWAT were assisting Elkhart County deputies with an investigation involving a possible shooting and robbery in the area.
The search for a suspect remains ongoing.
