Drivers traveling along U.S. 12 between Edwardsburg and Niles should expect delays starting April 20.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says construction will begin on new left-turn lanes at Beebe Road and Adamsville Road.

The project will include single-lane closures with traffic control in place. Officials say the improvements aim to enhance safety and traffic flow.

The project is expected to cost about $722,000 and be completed in early June.
