South Bend shooting under investigation after early Monday incident

Police in South Bend are investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Monday morning.

Dispatchers received a call just before 5 a.m. reporting gunfire in the 1700 block of Huey Street. Officers responded and confirmed that one person had been shot.

The victim’s condition has not been released.

Authorities say details remain limited as the investigation continues.
