Two Elkhart men are facing charges in connection to an alleged armed robbery and kidnapping.

20-year-olds Tyvonn C. King and Alvonte Fox are accused in the March 7 incident on Waterfall Drive.

Police say a teen reported being forced at gunpoint into a vehicle on Goshen Avenue, where the suspects then drove him to another location and stole his backpack.

The victim also told officers he was struck with a handgun before escaping. Investigators later used surveillance footage to identify a vehicle connected to the case and located the suspects at an apartment complex.

The Goshen News says both men have pretrial conferences set for June 4.
