A Fulton County man is suing over closed-door meetings tied to a possible data center.
Richard O’Neill says the Area Plan Commission and a data center review committee are breaking transparency rules by keeping meetings closed.
The group was formed after county leaders approved a one-year pause on new data centers to review regulations.
O’Neill is asking a judge to stop the committee unless meetings are opened or livestreamed.
The committee argues it isn’t required to follow Indiana’s Open Door Law because it’s not a governing body.
