Bald eagle successfully rescued

A Cicero, Indiana police officer successfully located and rescued an injured bald eagle after a citizen reported seeing it near U.S. 31 and 236th Street in Hamilton County.
Officer Barker’s determination led to the eagle’s rescue, and it was taken to a wildlife rehabilitation organization by the Department of Natural Resources.
The police department expressed gratitude to the concerned citizen for reporting the injured eagle, emphasizing that the bird would not have survived without intervention.
The rescue was described as a remarkable experience for all involved.
